People In School

In high school you may see some people different from you whether its skin color or disabilities were are all the same. I know there are some people out there that are straight out mean or kinda rude but the only way through that is by being nice. Like for example this guy was sitting on my seat and I could tell he was the kind of kid that just plain out didn't care. That's what it looked like but when I asked him politely he said he was working with his partner and if he could sit here for now. Since it seemed like a reasonable reason I let it go and sat at his seat which was right next to one of my good friends so it was a win win. This just goes to show you that you can't judge a book by its cover. Or maybe not some people are kinda mean and I'm even scared of some of my class mates but I don't show it. And then there are people who had a difficult life yet they live through it and will for the rest of their lives. For public speaking I was partnered with a boy with a disability and I was actually surprised cause I've never really had a conversation with him and I felt really bad cause I just assumed he would make this project hard and he actually did better then me cause he had more confidence then me. Give people a chance if they give you a chance. ~ Eve
